Originally founded as Evolution Photo Graphics by the Niezer family more than fifteen years ago, with a focus on serving the professional photography market in Kansas City. The name was eventually shortened to EPG Imaging, but the commitment to quality has remained to this day. The Neizer family sold EPG Imaging to Tricia O'Conner of Snap Photography in 2012. Tricia re-branded the business as Yellow Lab Photo Boutique and moved it to the Mission, Kansas location. Looking to concentrate more on her photography business, Tricia sold Yellow Lab to Rob and Brenda Mitchell in 2014. They combined the names EPG Imaging and Yellow Lab to form Yellow Lab Imaging. In 2020 they transitioned the business to an online-only operation with no storefront. In 2024 they moved the home-based business to the Knoxville, Tennessee area.

I am the forward face of Yellow Lab Imaging. I am responsible for all of the marketing, customer service and print production. I am likely to be the person that you will interact with. I have a passion for problem solving and help people with print projects.
For more than 19 years, I managed marketing strategies and execution for two separate divisions of a commercial printing company, and led the marketing department through the evolution of technological upgrades and digital outreach tactics. I also served as division director, contributing 20% of total business revenue, holding responsibility for all staff productivity, sales, budget management, and profitability.
Fun fact: Rob absolutely loves the Muppets.
I am the behind the scenes contributor who keeps us organized and on-track.
For over 20 years I have worked in office administration, helping offices run smoothly and efficiently. I excel at organizing offices, updating policies, creating training manuals and managing the day-to-day operations. I have managed up to twelve photographers in Europe; training, setting up weekly travel schedules, organizing photography equipment and handling payroll.
Fun fact: Brenda is obsessed with all things Penguin related.
I think I am the only thing holding the company together.
I have no concept of time. But I do know that as a full-blooded Chinese Shar-Pei I am royalty. I prefer the title of Princess. Wait, was that a squirrel?
Fun fact: Ginnie can never have enough toys.
