Yellow Lab Imaging offers custom holiday photo cards for customers who want something more personal than a mass-produced template. These are printed on professional photographic paper, color-reviewed by hand, and shipped with envelopes included. This is a custom service — you contact us directly, we work with you personally, and the result reflects the care that goes into every order we produce.
What Makes These Cards Different
Most online card services run your order through an automated system and ship whatever comes out the other end. That works fine for simple jobs, but it falls short when color accuracy matters — and with a holiday photo card featuring your family, color accuracy matters.
At Yellow Lab Imaging, every card order is reviewed by a real person before printing. If the color in your photo needs adjustment, or if the image is not going to look its best at card size, we will let you know before running the job. That is not something an automated system does.
Paper and Finish Options
Lustre is our standard finish for holiday cards — rich color, excellent sharpness, and a semi-gloss surface that looks clean and professional. It is the right choice for most card designs and photographs.
Metallic Pearl is available as an upgrade for cards where you want extra depth and luminosity. Pearl works especially well for photos with strong color and contrast. Because Pearl has a higher-gloss surface, it shows fingerprints more readily — worth keeping in mind for a card that will be handled and mailed.
Both options use archival inks on professional photographic paper. These are not drugstore prints — they are the same quality materials we use for fine art and professional photography orders.
Sizes and Pricing
We currently offer two standard card sizes, both including matching envelopes:

Minimum order quantities and custom design options are discussed during the consultation. There is no online ordering for cards — contact us directly to start the process.
How to Order
Because holiday cards are a custom product, the process starts with a conversation rather than an online cart. Here is how it works:
1. Contact us — Reach out by email or phone to describe what you are looking for: size, quantity, finish, and any design ideas you have.
2. Send your photo — We will let you know what file format and resolution works best for the card size you choose.
3. We review and confirm — Before printing, we review your image for color and quality and let you know if anything needs attention.
4. We print and ship — Cards are printed, packaged with envelopes, and shipped to you. Most orders ship within 7–10 business days. Free shipping on orders over $25.
Plan Ahead for the Holidays
Holiday card orders tend to cluster in November and early December, which is exactly when production time gets tight. If you want your cards in hand with time to address and mail them before the holidays, reaching out in October or early November is the safest approach. We will always do our best to accommodate late requests, but we cannot guarantee turnaround times during peak season the way we can earlier in the fall.
